检测公司先后承接中海油、广船国际、外高桥造船、沪东中华、宏华海洋等企业大型起重机的无损检测工作，如300吨、450吨吊机；900吨龙门起重机；1200*59.5框架式起重机；600*185门式起重机等。开展A1/A2压力容器、起重卸扣、高压炉管、过热器连接管等特种设备的检测任务。

检测公司为中国商飞、渤船重工、湖南弘辉科技等不同行业企业提供复合材料技术咨询与无损检测服务，包括碳纤维层合板、玻璃纤维板、泡沫夹芯复合板、纤维增强金属等。成功实施某大型装备复合材料无损检测工程，实现无损检测新技术在复合材料领域的技术突破和应用推广。

上海船舶工程质量检测有限公司重点针对工业制造质量检测中最常用的射线检测技术和超声检测技术开展相关共性技术和关键技术研究，重点针对工业制造加工中常见的板件、管件和厚壁件的检测需求，研究发展相应的射线数字化检测系统、超声成像检测系统以及高能射线检测系统，开发了射线及超声成像数字化检测系统工程样机及焊缝检测数据分析与管理系统，实施示范应用。实现综合检测效率提升25%以上，典型缺陷综合识别率95%以上。

中国船舶工业无损检测中心开设超声检测、射线检测、磁粉检测、渗透检测和目视检测等五大检测技术方法的培训。自上世纪 80 年代设立培训中心以来，已累计为船舶及其它行业培训无损检测技术人员 23000 余人次，为检测行业人才成长和技术进步做出了卓越贡献。
